    Bridges

Dental Bridges are an excellent alternative to wearing dentures and is used to fill gaps in your teeth which are missing or lost through accident or decay. A bridge will improve both the appearance and function of your teeth and prevent further damage to surrounding teeth and gums.

    Fixed Bridge

The surrounding teeth are cut down to form an anchor for the replacement tooth or teeth. Impressions are then taken and sent to our dental laboratory. A bridge is usually made of porcelain and is attached to your prepared teeth adjacent to the gap and the shade and shape of the bridge is decided by you and Ken. When you are completely satisfied Ken will fit the bridge.

    Adhesive Bridge

Very little or no tooth preparation, this type of bridge is stuck to the teeth on either side of the gap or just to one tooth.

Each type of bridge has its advantages and disadvantages and these need to be taken into account when deciding on the appropriate solution.
